Bravo/Brava Auntie!

The main advantage of not having a television is being able to watch programmes on the BBC iplayer when time permits, and this week, I have chiefly been watching...... 'The BBC Opera Season'. It has been fantastic, and Auntie Beeb should be congratulated on this wonderful series of shows.
Rolando Villazon was superb in 'What Makes A Great Tenor', and the 'Opera Italia' programmes on Verdi ( or Joe Green, as our old music teacher would insist on calling him, to the chagrin of the non-latin speakers who had to have the joke explained to them), and Puccini, were really informative. They say you learn a new thing every day, true where these programmes are concerned.
I'm halfway through last night's 'Pavarrotti: A Life in Seven Arias', and will be looking forward to the weekend and Puccini's 'La Boheme', my all-time favourite. I shall be curled up on the sofa, glass of Merlot in one hand and a tissue in the other, ready to sob my heart out at the sad demise of poor Mimi. I'm filling up already...........

See, wearing slutty undies and masturbation are NOT my only passions.

Well what do they expect?...

If 'Matalan' and 'George at Asda' will insist on selling shoes in size 8 for crazy prices, they must expect the place to be crawling with blokes walking ever so slowly round the shoe section, trying to look bored while inwardly screaming YES!, YES!, YES!, I'VE GOT TO HAVE 'EM!, I WANT THEM!, I MUST HAVE 'EM!, NOW!........
I tried to resist, the lovely grey strappy pair on the right were in and out of my basket so many times that the heels were starting to wear down! No good though, I had to own them, they are SO darling! Funny how you don't expect shoes that cost a tenner to be well-made or comfortable, but they are both, I could wear them all day and still feel as though I'd just put them on. I can even walk like a girl in them, a positive plus for a trannie!
The brown 'minnie-mouse' pair on the left look lovely with a brown and gold flared mini-skirt and a beige strappy top, maybe a bit too young for a 'mature' trannie like me, though, but it's only pretend, innit.

It's an ill wind!

The plus side to the weather has been having to stay at home and catch up with loads of paperwork. That, of course, means dressing for the part, and I managed to spend a couple of days in 'secretary mode'. It's so nice and girly to get up on a morning and have a long shower, get made up, slip on a dressing gown and open up that wardrobe door! It's as hard for a tranny to choose an outfit as it is for real girls, and we only do it on maybe a couple of days in a month, how proper girls do it day in, day out, I'll never understand. It's a girl thing I guess, but I'll NEVER criticise a girl for having too many clothes, it must be a nightmare trying to look different every day. It's not a problem us 'girly-boys' have, we can wear the same thing for work eevery day for a week and nobody gives us a second glance, wear the same skirt two days running in an office full of girls and EVERYONE will notice!

A slow start to the New Year!

This bloody awful weather has made life VERY difficult this year, I was hoping to have some spare time to update the blog, but this is my first chance since the week before Christmas. The holiday was very enjoyable, and New Years Eve was spent as Sara, in 2 different outfits. I tried out my new curly, black-with-red-highlights wig, and went a bit Goth with the thigh boots and OTT make-up! It's not something I'd wear to do a big shop in ASDA, but it was fun playing about with a new look.

Shock! Horror! I discovered on Dec.30th that I didn't have enough sticky pads for my long false nails! I sent an e-mail to Lynn at handpaintednails.com only to find that she was almost out of them as well! Thankfully, she had a couple of sheets that she posted off straight away, and they arrived first thing New Years Eve, she's a little darling! I thought the nails looked really good, and her service is second to none, her nails4men.com site has all the details of big nails for big hands!

Nails.

At long last I have found a supplier of false nails for men. It's taken a while, but they are SO worth the wait! They are a lovely deep red, really long, and so wide they cover my great thumbnails with no trouble. There is something so 'femme' about false nails, it is totally different to just polishing your real nails, nice as that is. For a special occasion, having really glam nails is the icing on the cake, and that slight feeling of being a little bit helpless is fantastic. One thing's for sure, you can't pull open a can of lager, and the care you need to take just digging around in your handbag for a lipgloss is amazing. It saves a hell of a lot of time as well, and the heartache of ruining a polish two minutes before you are going out. Anyway, if anyone needs extra wide false nails , try Lynn Mulford at:

so many clothes, so little time!

It's strange how crossdressing gives you a different outlook on life, especially when it comes to clothes. I never give boy-clothes a thought, I don't have any interest in styles or trends of male dress, and demand only that my clothes are warm in the winter and cool in the summer! I have one suit, one sports jacket, two pairs of black trousers and one pair of shoes. GIRL-CLOTHES, however, are a different matter! My wife moans that she has no room for her clothes, and I have to admit, she's right. I have loads of shoes and boots, slutty tops and skirts that have never been worn, and drawers full of tights, stockings, bras and basques. I can now totally understand when girls buy clothes 'just cos I wanted it', and when they say 'I have NOTHING to wear', I really understand. I saw a long, big-button cardi in Spring, and nearly bought it, but thought I'd get it later. I should have got it, as I've not seen it, or anything like it, since. I've become obsessed with it, and spend hours on line and in the high street looking for it. If I find it it will just get worn once and then hung in the wardrobe, and the next item will take it's place in my imagination.
I guess I'm nearly a proper girl.

always too late!

Isn't it always the same! Peacocks are selling full wigs for £16.00! So, I spend hundreds of pounds on two wigs in the summer, and now I can get two blonde and two brunette wigs, one straight and one curly in each colour, for £64.00! I might buy some anyway, a girl can never have too many wigs, I love matching outfits to wigs, it's amazing the difference it can make just swapping hair colour to suit a colour or style of dress. I'm still pissed-off though, bloody Peacocks! On a happier note, it's getting near to boots weather, I LOVE wearing boots, especially over skinny jeans with a slutty top, it just feels, well, right, if you know what I mean.
